Odsonne Edouard is open to quitting Celtic next year to join a Champions League club, Football Insider understands.
The forward, 21, is on the radar of top European clubs after starting the season on fire for club and country with a series of eyecatching goals.
A French source has told Football Insider that Edouard is ambitious and keen to test himself at the highest level with a mega-money move next year.
This comes after Football Insider revealed that Lyon are among the clubs keeping close tabs on the prolific striker.
The likes of Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with Edouard amid reports that Celtic will not cash in on him in the January window.
Edouard has had a blistering start to the season with nine goals and five assists from 17 Celtic matches, and he has highlighted his talents to a wider audience with a remarkable nine goal in his first four matches for France Under-21s.
He continued his scorching form in the national team’s Euro Under-21 qualifying campaign with a hat-trick against Slovakia on Tuesday night.
Celtic now face a major battle to hang on to the club they signed for a club-record fee of £9million last year after a successful season loan.
They have sold Kieran Tierney and Moussa Dembele for fees of £25million and £19million in the last two summer windows.
The club would be confident of securing a £25million-plus club-record fee for Edouard if he continues to shine for club and country in the coming months.
