Derby County fans say the same thing about John Eustace sacking

Derby County fans have seen enough and want John Eustace sacked after their 2-1 defeat to Birmingham City on Saturday.

The Rams have only won one of their seven Championship matches this season, and the result has left the club inside the relegation zone.

On top of this, Derby have now lost three matches in a row, scoring just once in that time.

With concerns of a potential return to League One growing, supporters have now called for Eustace to be sacked.

Eustace had done really well at Derby last season, and had the club on the cusp of playoffs before losing out on the final day.

However, he could soon find himself jobless, with fans turning against the manager.

Derby fans want John Eustace sacked

Derby have no doubt had a terrible start to the season.

The Rams had a fairly kind opening few fixtures, but these have resulted in few results.

The past three defeats have been particularly damaging for Eustace’s reputation, with Derby failing to score past a West Brom team who were down to 10 men for around 60 minutes on Wednesday.

Now, after the 2-1 loss to Birmingham, fans have seen enough and have called for Eustace to be sacked to help turn their form around.

Are Derby in serious relegation trouble?

As it stands, Derby do find themselves in a mess.

They are struggling to score goals, and are making multiple mistakes at the back.

Birmingham City were well-deserved winners on Saturday, and had an xG of 3.05 compared to Derby’s 1.01.

Overall in the Championship, the Rams have netted just six goals, and when you can’t score, you are always going to be in danger of the drop.

Up next, the Rams will take on fellow strugglers Burnley in the final game before the international break.

If Derby lose here, Eustace’s job could be in real jeopardy, especially if they fall to the bottom of the table.

Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if he is able to turn things around at Pride Park over the coming weeks as the Rams look to get their hopes of achieving the playoffs back on track this season.
