Euro giants looking to strike late deal with Tottenham for 52-time international - report

European giants Inter Milan are looking to strike a late loan deal with Tottenham for attacker Moussa Sissoko, according to a report.
The Daily Mail have claimed on their website that the 28-year-old is attracting interest from the club in Milan as well as Turkish side Trabzonspor with both looking to take him temporarily.
The 52-time capped France international made the switch to north London from Newcastle on deadline day of last year for a then Tottenham club-record of £30million.
However, he failed to make an impact in his debut campaign in Mauricio Pochettino’s side and in 34 appearances in all competitions he failed to bag a single goal, while providing just four assists.
This season saw Sissoko start the season opener against Newcastle, but he was then pushed back to the bench for the second and third games against both Chelsea and Burnley after a disappointing performance at St. James’ Park.

Football Insider verdict:
Sissoko is clearly not good enough for a team of Tottenham’s standing and has been given chance after chance after chance to try and show that he is good enough to live up to the £30million move. However, many had their doubts as to whether Spurs were making the right decision in bringing in Sissoko for such a huge fee last summer and those doubters have since been proven correct. Tottenham have aspirations of winning the Premier League title and Sissoko is not the type of player to help them do that. Therefore, a loan move to Inter Milan makes sense for both Tottenham and the player in a World Cup year.
In other Tottenham transfer news, Spurs have agreed an eight-figure deal with a Premier League side for this 24-year-old.
