Euro giants make emphatic eleventh hour decision on striker undergoing Wolves medical - Sky Sports
By Harvey Byrne
European giants PSV have decided they don’t want to sell striker Jurgen Locadia to Wolves in the eleventh hour of the transfer window, according to Sky Sports.
The popular broadcasters have claimed via their live transfer blog (Thursday, 7.40pm) that the 23-time Eredivisie winners have pulled the plug on the 23-year-old making the switch to the Midlands even though he was already undergoing a medical.
The young striker is highly-thought of in Holland after breaking through the PSV youth ranks and Wolves thought they were close to sealing another fine deal alongside the likes of Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota and Willy Boly all joining this summer.
However, it now looks as though they have been left with just hours to find a new frontman after having already let Nouha Dicko, Duckens Nazon, Joe Mason, Paul Gladon and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson depart this summer.

This is a big blow for Wolves after they let go a number of their forwards in anticipation of Locardi joining in order to get past financial fair play regulations. They would have felt that a move for the Dutchman was sealed after he started his medical, but it now looks like the cash-rich Midlands club have just hours to get back onto the drawing board and try and seal a striker signing with just hours left. However, that is easier said than done and Wolves may now be left with just Leo Bonatini and Bright Enobakhare upfront.
In other Wolves transfer news, Wolves also tabled a massive bid for this Premier League striker on deadline day.
