Massive boost for Rangers as crocked star delivers message to fans

Rangers star defender Bruno Alves has said that he is expecting to return to full training soon, after sustaining an ankle injury in the Old Firm derby on December 30th.
Alves, who helped Portugal to win the Euro 2016 tournament, managed to limp off the field during the 0-0 draw at Celtic Park.
The portugese enforcer has not seen any action since, and this has lead to some questioning whether his future lies at the Ibrox.
However, the 36-year-old posted a story to his official Instagram account saying “Soon back to training. Thanks for helping me in recovery!”

The Portugese national had opted to travel home to undergo his rehab, instead of utilising his team’s facility – leading to some raising speculation regarding his Rangers future.
Alves had been integral for Graeme Murty this season, appearing in 18 fixtures before his injury in late December, and Gers fans will be happy to see him almost back.
The central defender has enjoyed a stellar career to this point, earning the best part of 100 caps for his Portugese senior team, as well as playing for a number of Europe’s top clubs.
In other Rangers news, Murty has confirmed contact with ‘high level’ players, as four names are reportedly linked with a Rangers moves.
