Everton fans have annihilated Oumar Niasse for his performance in the 1-0 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday evening.
Niasse, 27, was named to start after a brilliant display against Crystal Palace last week when he scored and supplied an assist, but against Javi Gracia’s side this weekend, the Senegal international was not at all at the races before he was substituted off in the 57th minute to be replaced by Cenk Tosun.
Everton have found it tough in replacing Romelu Lukaku as the club’s go-to centre-forward this season and Niasse has been called upon by both Ronald Koeman and Sam Allardyce to help fill the void, even though last season he was shipped out on loan to Hull.
The former Lokomotic Moscow player, who reportedly earns £55,000-a-week in his deal at Goodison Park, has had his moments in the famous blue of Everton this campaign, but against Watford he was miles away from having any impact on proceedings
One angry Toffees supporter claimed that Niasse is “absolute dung”.

My god how boring is this side? How have we spent 200 million quid and ended up with Niasse up front and Martina left back? Utter dross.

Niasse needs to stop grinning from ear to ear whenever he loses the ball or makes a mistake. It's making me hate him. #EFC

Niasse has made 21 appearances in all competitions for Everton this season, scoring 11 goals, which is not a bad return for a striker who many believed to have been on his way out of Goodison Park last summer.
In other Everton news, the Toffees are plotting contract talks with this rapid centre-forward who could be on the move in the summer.
