Everton target Gabriel Jesus is set to be available to leave Arsenal this summer for a fee in the region of £20million.
The striker will have just one year remaining on his contract and is on significant wages, meaning any potential deal will involve a sizable outlay.
Everton are keen to sign a striker this summer amid the inconsistencies of both Thierno Barry and Beto, with links to Jesus making sense.
The Brazilian is a proven quantity in the English top flight, and won his fifth Premier League title when Arsenal lifted the trophy on Sunday.
At that price point, however, Everton transfer chiefs will have far more to consider this summer than just his quality.

The Brazilian only returned from an ACL injury in November, but played plenty of minutes in the second half of the season.

Mikel Arteta has always been a big fan of Jesus, and for good reason – on his day, the 29-year-old is unlike any other striker.
The former Manchester City forward is among the world’s best pressing strikers and is capable of long mazy runs that see him beat several defenders.
Jesus was transformative at Arsenal when he arrived, but his stature at the club was summed up by what may have been his final appearance.
The forward started against Crystal Palace on the final day and opened the scoring with a driven strike into the bottom corner, but it only came after he had missed three big chances.

His lack of deadly finishing, combined with his injuries and Arsenal’s £20m asking price, should see Everton move on to other targets this summer.
What Jesus has said about his future
Even if it is not to join Everton, Jesus is expected to end his four-year stay at Arsenal in the coming months.
The striker is already behind Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz in the pecking order, and the Gunners have been linked with a move for Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi.

“The future belongs to God,” he told ESPN Brasil after Sunday’s game. “I still have a year left on my contract with Arsenal. I want to play, I want to prove to myself that I can play at a high level.”
“Today, I could have scored two or three more goals. This shows me that I’m still a player who can perform at a high level even with such a serious injury.
“I have my head in the right place, I think every day about how to keep my head in the right place, train hard and stay focused,” he added.
