Everton will battle with close rivals Liverpool and Euro giants Roma and Inter Milan for Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Emre Mor, according to a report.

The Sun have claimed on their website that the 20-year-old right winger is highly sought-after with some of Europe’s biggest clubs tracking him, including the Toffees.

It is said that the young forward is desperate to continue with his progress after breaking into the Dortmund first team last season and while the Bundesliga outfit are resigned to losing him they will only the young prospect to leave on a permanent basis.

It is also reported that Mor himself is keen to try his luck in the Premier League, which has alerted both Liverpool and Everton.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is detailed to be a big admirer and made an attempt to sign him last summer before his move to Dortmund, while it is said that the Toffees are ready to continue with their summer spending in order to seal his signature.

Mor still has four years remaining on his contract at Dortmund, but he could be a massive coup for Ronald Koeman’s Everton team this summer.

Football Insider verdict:

Mor is a very talented youngster and while some of the names linked with him are certainly attractive, Everton are the club showing to hand chances to youngsters. That could be a huge boost in their attempts to sign the 20-year-old and the Toffees have shown that they are ready to spend this summer. This could be one of the best deals Everton make in the 2017 summer transfer window given whatever they spend they will likely make back in a future sale and Mor will only grow at the club and help the Toffees reach the Champions League. Therefore, Everton must ensure they knockout their rivals in this move.
