Everton plan to 'accept Tyler Dibling offer' after David Moyes decision

Everton are planning to accept loan offers for Tyler Dibling when the January transfer window arrives amid new concerns.

The 20-year-old is not believed to be part of David Moyes' plans for the upcoming season, but is still highly regarded at the club, and could continue his development elsewhere.

That comes after he started and registered an assist during their 1-0 win against Wolves in the League Cup in midweek, in what was his first real chance to shine this season.

Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Dibling is not cut out for Premier League football yet, and a loan could be his best option.

Despite his performance in their League Cup win, there are still doubts about his role in the side, while he remains below their other wide options in the pecking order.

However, his talent is clear, and even if he does not feature in Moyes' plans, there is a feeling a loan spell could be what he needs to spark his stalling Everton career.

What do Everton have planned for Tyler Dibling?

Brown told Football Insider on 16 September that Dibling does not feature in Moyes' long-term plans at Everton as doubts grow around his future at the club.

The 20-year-old has still yet to make a Premier League appearance this season, and despite impressing against Wolves, failed to do so in the earlier round against Preston.

However, after the success Harrison Armstrong enjoyed on loan before his return to Merseyside, there is a belief a short-term spell away could be idael for Dibling's development.

"I had serious doubts about Tyler Dibling before he made the move to Everton," Brown told Football Insider.

"I don't think he's particularly well-suited to the Preimer League, he might just not be cut out for this level, and I think Moyesey has realised that.

"So when the January transfer window arrives, Everton are going to be open to offers for Dibling, whether that's on loan or permanently.

"A loan move could be ideal for him, because it would allow him to play regularly, develop the parts of his game which aren't the best, and get back into Moyes' plans.

"It did wonders for Harrison Armstrong, who really impressed on loan at Preston before Moyes recalled him and now he's part of the first-team plans at Everton.

"If Dibling could replicate that success, then it would be a good move all round, because he could play regularly even if he's not going to be part of the plans at Everton.

"When the January window opens, I expect that is something Everton will be keen to do if any clubs are prepared to come forward with offers."

Did Dibling take his chance against Wolves?

Despite what has been a diffcult spell for Dibling since his move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, he is still held in high regard, and there is optimism he could still impress.

Football Insider reported on 13 September that the Wolves clash would be the perfect opportunity for Dibling to stake a claim for a role in Moyes' starting XI.

After setting up the only goal in the game against Championship opposition, the winger did all that was asked of him, and will hope to see his display recognised.

However, the Toffees landed Tyrique George, Brennan Johnson and Jack Grealish in the summer, forcing the fomer Southampton man further down the pecking order.

While there is not enough depth in the squad to rule out the idea that Dibling may get minutes at some stage, his role in the side means he could remain on the fringes.
