Taty Castellanos could potentially be one of several West Ham United players Everton can sign in the ongoing transfer window.

The Hammers are facing a major squad overhaul as they look to balance their books after being relegated from the Premier League.

In January, the Irons spent £26 million on the former Lazio striker, but he was unable to lead Nuno Espirito Santo's team to safety despite some impressive displays.

Castellanos may now have a chance to instantly return to the Premier League with a move to Hill Dickinson Stadium as David Moyes reportedly contemplates Thierno Barry's future at the club.

The Argentine centre-forward featured in 18 Premier League games for the East London outfit, scoring six goals.

With the Merseyside outfit looking to strengthen their attack this summer after a disappointing end to the season, the 27-year-old may be a decent option for them.

Everton decide on Thierno Barry exit

Barry moved to the Toffees last summer with a lot of expectations, but struggled in his debut Premier League season.

At the end of February, the former Villarreal youngster lost his place in the starting lineup, with Beto preferred over the 23-year-old Frenchman.

Sources told Football Insider on 22 June that while Barry could be sold at Hill Dickinson Stadium, the Blues wouldn't entertain any offers without signing a replacement.

The Merseyside outfit will look to recoup the £27m they paid for the centre-forward last summer, with RB Leipzig credited with an interest in him.

David Moyes considers West Ham transfer raid

Football Insider has covered Everton's interest in Jarrod Bowen and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with Moyes looking to strengthen his squad with quality talent.

The English forward would add much-needed attacking threat to the Toffees' front line after scoring nine goals and providing 11 assists in the Premier League this season.

A new right-back is on the Merseyside outfit's agenda and the DR Congo international has vast Premier League experience and can add value to Moyes' squad.

Midfield additions are also being considered by the Scottish manager, who was unable to secure European football after failing to win any of the last seven league fixtures.
