David Moyes needs to make several changes if Everton stand any chance of claiming points against Arsenal.

The Toffees have fallen to eighth in the Premier League table after the 2-0 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday, 17 October, beaten by a Pedro Neto brace.

Moyes' side have won just once in their last six league matches, and there are very few games more difficult than an away trip to the Emirates.

But that is the reality the Merseysiders face on Saturday, 24 October, with the squad, already stretched by a poor summer window, stretched even further.

Arsenal haven't lost to Everton in seven meetings, but right now is the perfect time for Moyes' team to strike.

Football Insider has looked at three players who need to be axed when the Toffees travel to the Emirates this weekend.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles

Ainsley Maitland-Niles was hooked just 55 minutes into the defeat to Chelsea, and rightly so, as he struggled to make an impact at full-back.

He created no chances, was dribbled past twice, won zero per cent of his ground duels, committed two fouls and was dispossessed once [FotMob].

Harrison Armstrong

Harrison Armstrong showed against the Blues that the youngster can be too rash, and that could land Everton in hot water against Arsenal.

The 19-year-old made one very reckless challenge, won just 29 per cent of his ground duels and zero per cent of his aerial duels, and was dribbled past twice [FotMob].

Armstrong is bound to be overstimulated by Declan Rice, Bruno Guimaraes and Martin Odegaard.

Thierno Barry

This would be a decision that dumbfounds a lot of fans. But with 11 missed big chances in the Premier League this season, the next-highest having only six, Thierno Barry needs a rest.

He would be far more impactful off the bench against a tired Arsenal team, and given Tyrique George's ability to play through the middle, Moyes does have options.
