Odds slashed: Everton increasingly likely to sign ex-Tottenham star
Everton have seen their odds slashed to sign AZ Alkmaar and Ireland striker Troy Parrott by top bookmakers as the race heats up to seal his services.
David Moyes is eyeing a new striker signing this summer after Everton struggled to regularly score goals last season.

Numerous clubs across Europe are believed to be keen on his signature, with Everton now seeing their odds to be his next club slashed to 6/1.
Sources have exclusively revealed to Football Insider that West Ham are planning to make an offer for Parrott soon, and they are the current bookies' favourites at odds of 5/2.
He started on the bench for their Super Cup clash against PSV on Sunday, and failed to register a goal contribution in 45 minutes on the pitch despite their 4-0 win.
Manager Echteld was asked about the possibility of him leaving after the game, as he admitted that a move away is likely this month.
He said: "We all know that he wants to make a transfer. I don’t think we will keep him in the end. But if he stays, we are going to use him."
