Everton are keeping close tabs on Burnley winger Loum Tchaouna, sources have told Football Insider.

The Merseysiders dispatched a scout to watch the 22-year-old winger last Sunday in their 2-2 draw against Aston Villa.

Tchaouna was outstanding on the day for the Clarets as they picked up a shock draw against the newly-qualified Champions League outfit.

To date, the Chad-born star has played 27 times in the Premier League this season, and has netted twice, but was unable to prevent Burnley’s relegation to the Championship.

Everton are pursuing a winger this summer, and Tchaouna is now firmly on their radar as David Moyes and the Hill Dickinson Stadium recruitment team assemble a shortlist of targets.

Is Loum Tchaouna capable of performing for Everton?

Despite Burnley’s poor season, Tchaouna has taken his chance on the pitch in recent weeks when it has been presented to him.

Since Scott Parker’s sacking at Turf Moor, the winger has played the full 90 minutes of both of their preceding fixtures and even scored in the 3-1 defeat to Leeds United.

Tchaouna has some good attacking stats

His attacking stats are also highly impressive, with the 22-year-old having a clear eye for goal.

According to Fotmob on 16 May, in the Premier League this season, he has been averaging 0.16 goals, 0.10 xG, 1.70 shots and a 0.07 xA per 90 minutes.

Therefore, there is every chance that he could become an excellent squad option for David Moyes at Everton next season, as he looks to grow into a Premier League star.

Now, Everton will be hopeful that they can secure his signature over the next few months ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

Which other wingers have been linked to Everton?

Football Insider has exclusively revealed that Everton are also pursuing Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu.

The Ghana international is keen to move to the Premier League after the Foxes’ relegation to League One this season.

Several sides are keen to add him to the squad, including Sunderland, who are battling the Toffees for his signature.

Fatawu had a solid season in the Championship, where he scored nine goals and picked up seven assists.

However, it remains to be seen who Everton will look to sign to reinforce their wings in the summer, in what could be an important few months for the club.
