Gabriel Jesus next club: Everton odds tumble after price tag reduction
Everton are increasingly likely to seal the transfer of Arsenal outcast Gabriel Jesus this summer transfer window.
This is according to one bookmaker, who has now slashed the odds of the Toffees completing a move down to 5/1.
Arsenal are willing to part with the striker this summer after he struggled to break into the starting XI last season.
This has seen reports emerge that the Gunners have now reduced their price tag to between £20million and £25m.
Everton are believed to be long-term admirers of the attacker and are looking to solve their striker issues over the coming months.
Now, they could look to strike a deal with the North London club to bring him to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Gabriel Jesus has struggled at Arsenal in recent years
Jesus’ importance at the Gunners has significantly shrunk since he made the move from Manchester City in 2022.
In the 2025-26 campaign, the 29-year-old only started in three Premier League matches as the club won the Premier League title.
However, he is still delivering goals, something that will be attractive to both Everton and David Moyes this summer.
Despite his limited minutes, Jesus still managed to net six goals in all competitions for Arsenal last season, including two in the Champions League.
However, the Toffees could still face competition for his signature.
Juventus are the current bookies’ favourites to secure the signing at 3/1, while Brazilian side Palmeiras are priced at 4/1.
AC Milan are also touted as a potential destination at 5/1, while a stay at Arsenal is placed at 6/1.
Can Everton afford Jesus this summer?
Football Insider has exclusively revealed that Everton will still find it difficult to afford Jesus this summer despite the reduction in his price tag.
The overall package, as well as his wages, may be too expensive for the Toffees at present.
This has allowed many other clubs to enter the race for the Arsenal striker as he looks to reignite his career elsewhere.
However, it remains to be seen where Jesus will be playing his football next season, with it looking likely that he will be out of the door at the Emirates in the near future.
