Nuno will be gutted - Tottenham source leaks dressing room news that enrages pundit
Alex McLeish has suggested Nuno Espirito Santo may be feeling a sense of “loneliness” amid the dressing room discontent at Tottenham.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Scotland manager admitted it was “disappointing to hear” of “unhappy” Spurs stars.
A Tottenham source told Football Insider (October 12) senior players are “unimpressed” and “unhappy” with their new manager’s methods and communication.
It is understood the Portuguese boss has “few allies” in the dressing room.
Tottenham enjoyed a bright start to Nuno’s reign but results and performances have dropped off in recent weeks.
The former Wolves manager came under heavy criticism for his tactics in the 3-1 derby day defeat to Arsenal.

McLeish admitted Nuno would not want to hear of unhappy players within the Tottenham dressing room.
He suggested the 47-year-old would be feeling anxious over his position as a result.
“That’s disappointing to hear,” McLeish told Football Insider deputy editor Russell Edge.
“It can be quite difficult for the manager. He will feel a sense of loneliness and maybe a wee bit of anxiety.
“He’s still a young man, he’s vibrant, he should still have great self-belief in himself.
“If these kinds of rumours are coming out then, I’m sure the manager doesn’t want to hear that.
“The difference between this job and the one he had previously at Wolves is the backers, the bosses, gave him tremendous assistance in buying new players.”
Nuno won the Premier League manager of the month award for August after three wins and three clean sheets.
However, Tottenham suffered three defeats in the league in September to halt their momentum.
