Ex-manager: Kane is telling Nuno he wants to quit Tottenham
Alex McLeish has suggested Harry Kane will tell Nuno Espirito Santo he still wants to leave when the pair hold talks at Tottenham.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Scotland boss suggested there was nothing the Portuguese manager could do to change the 27-year-old’s mind.
Speaking to talkSPORT (July 5th), Kane revealed he had not spoken to Nuno or director of football Fabio Paratici but that talks were planned for after the Euros.
Football Insider revealed in April the England striker is “hell bent” on leaving Spurs this summer.
However, Paratici told Sky in Italy (July 5th) keeping Kane at Spurs is one of his priorities this summer.
McLeish insisted Nuno would try to sweet-talk the striker into staying.

However, he suggested the England ace was determined to quit Tottenham.
McLeish told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “Nuno’s going to say what I said to players who were wanting to leave my clubs.
“Things like: ‘You can be the star player here,’ and all that.
“However, I don’t see Harry staying. I don’t see him staying no matter what Nuno says. I see Harry Kane being determined to leave.
“In these days, where it’s much easier to leave than back in my day, I do think he’s going to take that opportunity. I don’t think there’s any doubt about that.
“It depends on who is willing to pay the fee that is required by Spurs.”
Kane still has three years left on his contract at Spurs.
He scored 33 goals in 49 appearances across all competitions during the 2020/21 campaign.
