Ex-manager makes 'shock' Leeds claim after major Lang reveal
Alex McLeish has claimed Noa Lang could be in for a “shock” if he joins Leeds United this summer.
The former Scotland boss, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted the 22-year-old’s performances would have to match his ambition in the Premier League.
As revealed by Football Insider (June 24th), Lang is open to leaving Club Brugge for Leeds as he looks to take his career to the next level.
Lang spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Brugge and helped the club seal the Belgian top-flight title.
McLeish suggested Lang would now have a “winner’s mentality” as he looks to play at a higher level.

However, he warned the promising winger of the quality of the Premier League.
McLeish told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “The players who come to England and play in the Premier League will sometimes get a shock.
“The level of speed in the game and the quality of the players, they’re up there with the best players in the world.
“We know that the Spanish still have a few, Italy and the other top nations as well. However, the Premier League has caught up big time after 10 years old Spanish and Italian dominance.
“Playing in the English Premier League can sometimes be a little bit of a shock. He’s coming in with a winning mentality and a mentality that says he’s going to a higher place.
“You’ve got to bring the level he showed at Brugge.”
Lang was a standout performer for Brugge, scoring 17 goals and contributing 11 assists in 38 appearances.
He is set to join the Belgian outfit permanently but they are open to selling him for a quick profit.
