Ex-manager suggests top clubs circling for Harrison after £20m Leeds reveal
Alex McLeish has suggested Jack Harrison will be on the radar of Premier League rivals after joining Leeds United permanently.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Scotland boss claimed the 24-year-old is good enough to play for all but the top two top-flight clubs.
Leeds confirmed Harrison had joined permanently on July 2nd after three successive seasons on loan from Manchester City.
As revealed by Football Insider (July 3rd), the total cost of the deal, including transfer fee, signing-on fee and wages, is worth over £20million.
McLeish insisted it was a “great” deal for one of the Whites’ standout stars last season.
However, he insisted there would still be plenty of rival interest in the winger.

McLeish told Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge: “It is outrageous money when you think about it back in my day.
“In this modern-day, it is a great signing. He’s been a great player for Leeds, no doubt about it.
“The fact that Leeds stayed in the Premier League in a very, very comfortable position, kind of emphasises that.
“I don’t think there’s any doubt other clubs would have been looking at him because he’s had a great season.
“I think he could slot in most of the teams in the Premier League. If not the top two but possibly everyone else.”
Harrison scored eight goals and contributed eight assists in 36 Premier League appearances last term.
He played 128 times for Leeds before signing permanently, while he never featured for Manchester City.
