Sources: Leeds to announce fourth summer signing after McGurk deal finalised
Leeds United are set to announce the signing of Sean McGurk from Wigan Athletic within hours, Football Insider understands.
This site broke the news yesterday that the 18-year-old was undergoing a medical and putting the finishing touches to a move to Elland Road.
A Leeds source has told Football Insider the paperwork of transfer is being finalised and McGurk is to be unveiled as the club’s fourth summer signing.
United have already completed deals for Junior Firpo, Jack Harrison and Amari Miller.
Like his fellow 18-year-old Miller, McGurk has been earmarked by Leeds as one for the future.
He is a goalscoring attacking midfielder who caught the eye of United talent spotters with his performances for Wigan Under-18s.

The teenager has banged in 35 goals in the last two seasons for the age-group side and done enough for Leeds to make a move.
He has agreed personal terms with the Yorkshire giants and is set to join for a six-figure transfer fee.
McGurk will become the latest young talent to join Leeds.
This comes after the captures last summer of fellow Wigan product Joe Gelhardt as well as Cody Drameh, Sam Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville.
Gelhardt, Greenwood and Summerville could also end up costing United more than £1million.
McGurk is expected to initially link up with Mark Jackson’s Under-23s side as they prepare for life in Division 1 of Premier League 2 following their promotion.
