Exclusive: Agbonlahor names 'Unbelievable' West Brom player who can keep them up
Gabriel Agbonlahor has insisted West Brom forward Callum Robinson could score the goals they need to avoid relegation.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley, Agbonlahor claimed his former teammate has been “unlucky” not to start games recently.
Robinson earned a rare start against Tottenham on Sunday when he partnered fellow summer signing Karlan Grant up front.
In the three games before that, Slaven Bilic had lined up with Grant as a lone striker with Robinson being introduced from the bench.
Agbonlahor knows Robinson well from their days at Aston Villa and he has been extremely impressed by his career progression.
The 25-year-old left Villa for Preston North End before ending up at West Brom via a spell with Sheffield United.

Agbonlahor told Football Insider: “I think Callum was unbelievable at Preston that’s why he got his move to Sheffield United.
“He can score goals, we saw what he did against Chelsea earlier this season, he got a couple of goals. He’s been unlucky not to start the last few games.
“Callum is a great lad, one of my good friends. As a player, he’s hungry, he can score a goal, he’s got pace.
“Hopefully he can get back in that side because they’re going to need his goals this season.
“He left Villa and made a career for himself, sometimes young players can get stuck in the mould of thinking ‘I’m at Aston Villa, it’s amazing, the training ground, the food, the sauna, the lifestyle’ and they don’t want to leave.
“But he did and went down to teams that don’t have the same facilities and made a career for himself and is doing really well.”
Robinson has two Premier League goals this season and they both came in the Baggies’ 3-3 draw with Chelsea.
In other West Brom news, Football Insider can REVEAL the club have plotted a move to sign a contract-rebel defender wanted by West Ham.
