Everton are readying a £15m bid Birmingham City forward Che Adams as they look to beat a number of Premier League clubs to his signature this summer, Football Insider understands.

The likes of Southampton, Burnley and Premier League promotion hopefuls Norwich City are all chasing Adams, but Everton are determined to steal a march in the race for the 22-year-old by launching a big-money offer for the attacker.

Southampton and Burnley are long-term admirers of Adams and saw bids for him rejected during the January transfer window as Birmingham fought hard to keep hold of the former Sheffield United man.

However, Birmingham seem almost certain to lose their prize asset this summer due to their ongoing financial issues for breaching FFP rules and Everton are ready to blow with their rivals out of the water with their big-money offer.

Everton scouts have watched Adams in action on several occasions this season and they believe the 22-goal hit-man can make the step up to the Premier League.

Everton boss Marco Silva is determined to make major changes to his squad this summer and he sees reinforcements in attack as a key priority in the transfer window.
