Arsenal defender Jordi Osei-Tutu could become the latest young English talent to head to Germany, Football Insider understands.

A Gunners source has told Football Insider that Hamburg have submitted a bid for the right-back, 20, after watching him in action on several occasions for Arsenal Under-23s side last season.

A number of other clubs across Europe are also understood to be monitoring Osei-Tutu's situation and are prepared to offer him a quicker pathway to first-team football.

Osei-Tutu, who joined Arsenal from Reading in 2015, is highly regarded within the corridors of power at the Emirates.

He has yet to make his competitive first-team debut for Arsenal, but he was involved in the senior matchday squad on several occasions under Arsene Wenger.

The rising star was also named on the bench by Unai Emery in the Europa League clash with Vorskla Poltava last November.

Hamburg are looking to strengthen their squad for next season after agonisingly missing out on promotion back to the Bundesliga this year.
