Leeds United are targeting a new striker, winger and centre-back for the January transfer window, Football Insider sources understands.
Whites owner Andrea Radrizzani is ready to back Marcelo Bielsa in the transfer market with the triple senior swoop if the club are still on course for a promotion charge to the Premier League.
Leeds made only two permanent signings in the summer in the shape of Barry Douglas and Patrick Bamford, with Jack Harrison arriving on loan from Manchester City alongside Chelsea trio Jamal Blackman, Lewis Baker and Izzy Brown.
Bielsa has outlined three areas of his side he wants to improve in the New Year and he is looking to bring in a new central defender, a forward and a left-sided winger.
Leeds need striking reinforcements as Patrick Bamford continues his recovery from a serious knee injury he picked up last month.
Bielsa also wants to bring in defensive cover for the likes of Liam Cooper, Pontus Jansson and Gaetano Berardi, while he hopes to bring in a left-sided winger to bolster his attack options.
Leeds are currently top of the Championship table with 22 points from their opening 11 games and look well-placed for a push for promotion back to the Premier League in the second half of the season.
