Sheffield United are leading the race to sign Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi on loan, sources have told Football Insider.
The 21-year-old has been the subject of enquiries from a number of Championship clubs this summer, including the likes of Queens Park Rangers, Leeds, Hull, and Watford.
Despite the competition, Sheffield United are now confident of winning the race to Rak-Sakyi’s signature after holding preliminary talks over a deal.
The highly-touted winger would join the Blades on a loan deal in a bid to gain more regular first-team football, which would benefit all parties involved in the transfer.
The Eagles have been keen to not allow the academy graduate to leave on a permanent deal, as they believe he has a promising future.

Rak-Sakyi is a tricky winger who will bring pace to Sheffield United and has risen through the ranks through the club's youth academy.
The winger has made 10 first-team appearances for the Eagles, and also gained plenty of playing time on loan at Charlton.
He spent the 2022-23 season on loan at the club, scoring 15 goals and providing nine assists in 49 games.
Rak-Sakyi could end up being the second transfer that Sheffield United have completed this week.
