Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham is planning to leave the club this summer with a number of English clubs monitoring his situation, Football Insider sources understand.
Foderingham’s positon as No.1 goalkeeper at the Scottish giants is under major threat following the return of Allan McGregor to Ibrox this summer and the 27-year-old is ready to move on.
A well-placed source has told Football Insider that Rangers are prepared to sell Foderingham following McGregor’s arrival and that the player is keen to move on.
Foderingham has been Rangers’ first-choice keeper since his arrival at the club from Swindon Town in 2015, making over 100 appearances for Rangers since moving to Scotland.
New Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is prepared to cash-in on Foderingham to raise funds for his own transfer plans feeling he has enough cover in the goalkeeping department in McGregor and Jak Alnwick.
It would mean the departure of another player brought to the club from England by ex-boss Mark Warburton.
In other Rangers news, the Scottish giants are involved in a SHOCK transfer hijack that no-one saw coming.
