Rangers have joined the chase to sign promising West Brom attacker Rayhaan Tulloch, Football Insider can reveal.
The 18-year-old forward has caught the eye of a number of big-name clubs across Europe this season, with his contract set to come to an end next summer.
A West Brom source has told Football Insider that Olympique Marseille and RB Leipzig have been tracking Tulloch after impressing this season, but that Rangers have joined the hunt for the teenage attacker.
Tulloch signed his first professional contract at West Brom back in March 2018, the two-and-a-half-year deal meaning he will be out of contract in 2020.
A versatile player who can play on either wing, as a second striker or centre forward, the teenager has been in good form for the Baggies’ under-23 side this season, scoring five goals and contributing two assists in their Premier League 2 games.
He is the latest in a growing line of West Brom youngsters who have caught the eye of European heavyweights, with Louie Barry moving to Barcelona and Morgan Rodgers to Manchester City over the summer.
Tulloch has played twice for West Brom’s first-team, both outings coming against Brighton in the FA Cup fourth round, and replay, last season.
Rangers have poached young talent from England in the past, the likes of Nathan Young-Coombes, Glenn Middleton and Joe Aribo all moving north of the border in recent years, the latter on a free transfer this summer.
