Tottenham have have joined the race to sign Stoke City starlet Mohamed Sankoh this summer, Football Insider can reveal.
This site has already revealed Everton and Celtic have joined Chelsea in the race to prise the 16-year-old centre-forward from the Championship big hitters this summer.
A Spurs source has told Football Insider the club are also keeping close tabs on Sankoh ahead of his youth contract expiring.
The rising star has his heart set on a move to an elite club where he can take his game to the next level.
He is a highly regarded talent who has been capped by Holland at Under-17 level and has scored nine goals and supplied nine assists at Under-18 level this season.
Significantly, Sankoh will be free to leave this summer if Stoke fail to tie him down to a new deal.
His youth contract expires next month and he has yet to sign professional terms.
The earliest point the young centre-forward could do so would be when he turns 17 in October.
