West Brom, Swansea City and Norwich City are in the hunt to sign Luton Town midfielder Pelly Ruddock this month, Football Insider can reveal.
He is in the final six months of his contract and Luton may be forced to cash in rather than lose him on a free.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider West Brom, Swansea and Norwich are all keen to sign a proven defensive midfielder.
The 26-year-old has missed just two Championship games this season and has played 67 times in the division across the last two seasons.
A graduate of the West Ham academy, Ruddock moved to Luton in 2013, initially on loan, and has played a key role in their rise up the divisions.
The London-born ace has represented the Hatters in the Conference Premier, League Two, League One and the Championship.
He has played 273 times across all competitions for Luton in his six years at Kenilworth Road.
West Brom manager Sam Allardyce has been open about the need for him to bring in signings this month to help their chances of Premier League survival.
Tottenham-loanee Oliver Skipp is currently Norwich’s star man in midfield but it is unlikely he will stay at Carrow Road beyond the end of the season.
Jose Mourinho recently revealed he “selfishly” did not want to send the 20-year-old on loan because he had big plans for him.
