Exclusive: West Brom tipped to sign Spurs star by Robinson - 'I Want Him At Leeds'
Paul Robinson has tipped West Brom to sign Tottenham outcast Danny Rose this month – a move which works for all parties.
The former Leeds United and England number one, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, admitted that he would like to see the 30-year-old at Elland Road as Marcelo Bielsa’s side “have a weakness at left-back”.
According to The Sun, Baggies boss Sam Allardyce is “desperate” to bring the 29-times England international to The Hawthorns before next week’s transfer deadline.
It is reported that the left-back may have his contract at Tottenham, which is due to expire at the end of June, terminated by mutual consent.
Rose has been frozen out by Jose Mourinho at Spurs and has not made a single appearance for the first team in the 2020/21 campaign.
When asked by Football Insider if he could see Rose moving to The Hawthorns this month, Robinson said:

“Danny Rose needs to get out of Spurs and play football if he has any chance of getting into that squad for the Euros.
“He is not going to get a game under at Spurs under Jose Mourinho. If he goes to West Brom he would play every week under Sam. That move would really work.
“He is the type of player I can see Sam signing, as much as I would like to see him at Leeds. Leeds still have a weakness at left-back.”
