Exclusive: West Ham, Norwich & Watford race to sign London-club left footer
West Ham, Norwich City and Watford are in the hunt to sign QPR star Ryan Manning, Football Insider can reveal.
The 24-year-old has shone for the Championship side this season after being converted into a left-back by manager Mark Warburton.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider the Premier League trio are all keen on Manning going into the summer’s transfer window, which opens on 27 July.
Manning was on the radar of Wolves, Everton and Newcastle United earlier in the season but their interest has now cooled.
However, West Ham, Norwich and Watford are all in the market for cover and competition for their left-back slots.
Significantly, Manning is out of contract at Loftus Road next summer and he will be available for less than the £5m QPR wanted in January.
