West Ham United and Leicester have joined Liverpool in the chase for Norwich City sensation Ciaren Jones, Football Insider understands.
Jones, 19, has been impressive for Norwich in this season’s Premier League 2 and his displays have brought him to the attention of a number of Premier League clubs.
Liverpool have been keeping tabs on the central defender’s progress for some time and they are weighing up a move for the teenager this summer.
However, a source close to the strapping 6ft 3in ace has told Football Insider that West Ham and Leicester have also been alerted to Jones’ potential and they are ready to battle for his signature.
Jones has yet to make his first-team debut for Norwich, but he is tipped to be the next young player to be make the breakthrough at Carrow Road.
Norwich have high hopes for Jones and they will fight to keep hold of the defender this summer having tied him down to a new contract earlier this year.
