Expert: Celtic to announce Cameron Carter-Vickers capture 'very soon'
Celtic will announce the permanent signing of Tottenham loanee Cameron Carter-Vickers “very soon”.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Sky Sports have reported (29 March) Celtic can make the defender’s loan move permanent for £6million this summer.
However, on 29 April, 90min reported Southampton and Fulham are also interested in signing the defender.
The United States international has been a standout player for the Hoops this season, making 45 appearances in all competitions.
Wenham is expecting Celtic to sign the defender permanently and expects to hear concrete updates in the near future.

“I have said all along that Celtic will find the money to get this one done,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I think it is just a matter of time at this point. The fact they are back in the Champions League gives them the money to get it done.
“He came in there and has barely missed a minute. He’s an Old Firm goalscorer, a cup winner and a title winner.
“He is worth the money Tottenham will be asking for say, the money is there’. I expect an announcement or significant progress to be made very soon.”
Carter-Vickers helped Celtic win the Scottish League Cup as well as wrestling the Premiership title back from Rangers.
He has made five senior appearances for Spurs but none of those came in the Premier League.
