Expert in awe of 'hugely promising' 15-year-old Tottenham sensation - 'outstanding'
Mikey Moore is the latest name from the Tottenham academy that fans need to keep an eye on.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Tottenham’s Under-19s bowed out of the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday (1 November) with a 3-2 win over Marseille’s youth side.
The Spurs side included 15-year-old Moore, an attacking midfielder who usually plays for the Under-18s.
He has scored two goals and provided two assists in five total appearances for the Under-18s so far this term.
Wenham insists he was “outstanding” against Marseille and expects him to rapidly develop over the next 18 months.

“I’m really, really pleased for Wayne Burnett and the team, they needed that,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Make no mistake about it, they really needed that. They got the job done and included 15-year-old Mikey Moore, a hugely promising player.
“He is going to be one you get sick to death of me talking about over the next 18 months. Starting Youth League games at 15 is hugely impressive, especially away at Marseille.
“He was outstanding. This was a side without the influential Michael Craig and Jamie Donley but they still went out there and scored three goals.
“I hope that gives the team confidence now because they really need it right now.
“Over the last few weekends they have been unlucky, like conceding a 90th-minute equaliser the other week.
“They needed a turning point and I hope this is it with players like Charlie Sayers coming back from injury.”
