Expert: Tottenham have 'hit the jackpot' after source's 'brilliant' Tanguy Ndombele update
Tottenham have “hit the jackpot” amid the latest on Tanguy Ndombele’s future.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
On Monday (14 November) sources told Football Insider that Tottenham expect to complete the permanent transfer of Ndombele next year.
A Spurs source has told Football Insider that there is a £30million buy option in the Napoli loan deal that is triggered if they secure Champions League qualification for next season.
Ndombele has two-and-a-half years remaining on his £200,000-a-week Spurs contract.
Wenham insists Tottenham will have won the lottery if Ndombele leaves the club for £30million.

“Considering I would let Ndombele go for nothing, £30million would be like winning the lottery,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I don’t remember the exact wording of the initial reports that said Ndombele was going to Napoli. There was some talk that the option to buy would turn into an obligation if they finish in the top four.
“I think that’s what I read. Napoli are absolutely flying at the moment, top of the league. But, historically, they don’t drop £30million on a signing.
“I would be brilliant if, for once, our transfer team at the club have gone above and beyond and there is no way that Napoli can wriggle out of it.
“If this the case then Tottenham have hit the jackpot.”
Ndombele has made 18 appearances for Napoli, though he has only been in from the start in eight of those outings.
The midfielder has 91 Spurs appearances to his name.
