Centre-forward confirms he wants to quit Everton in summer, £8.4m fee reportedly agreed
Sandro Ramirez has made it clear that he was to quit Everton in the summer after enjoying the start to his life on loan at Sevilla. Sandro, 22, signed for for the Toffees from Malaga last summer in a deal worth £5.25million, but he failed to impress on Merseyside before agreeing a deal to move back to La Liga on loan in January. The Spanish centre-forward has made just two appearances for Sevilla since his loan move but it seems that he already feels as though he should stay with the Andalusian club. Spanish media outlet
has reported that Everton agreed an option-to-buy fee with Sevilla worth £8.4million that could be activated in the summer, although it is not mandatory. Now, Sandro has confirmed that he would like to extend his stay at Sevilla when his current loan deal there expires at the end of the season. . "I'm really where I want to be." Sandro had a nightmare start to life at Goodison Park after he was signed up by Ronald Koeman in the summer. He made 15 appearances in all competitions for Everton, but scored just one goal which came in the 5-1 defeat to Atalanta at home in the Europa League in November. The forward started just three games in the Premier League after failing to impress Koeman after his poor start, caretaker manager David Unsworth and now current boss Sam Allardyce.
