Premier League free agents: Every player out of contract at the end of the season

The Premier League is one of the most active leagues in the world for player transfers, but with 78 players out of contract at the end of the 2025-26 season, there are some bargains coming onto the market soon.

The top five most valuable commercial Premier League clubs might not struggle to pay huge sums for new signings but for the rest of England's top flight, shopping for discount signings is essential.

This is more important than ever after it was revealed that Manchester City's legal case has reduced the overall amount of money available to Premier League clubs.

Pep Guardiola will say goodbye to several players in the summer if contracts aren't extended, which will help them reduce their wage bill. Manchester City rank highest in the Premier League’s top five wage bill and could stand to shed some expenditure.

Every Premier League club - bar two - has contracts expiring at the end of the season, while Sunderland have nine players at risk of leaving on free transfers in 2026.
