Everton are ready to sell striker Sandro Ramirez this summer after after another wretched season, Football Insider understands.

The 23-year-old has spent the campaign on loan at Real Sociedad but has failed to score in 27 matches for the La Liga club.

An Everton source has told Football Insider that the Merseysiders have no intention of re-integrating Ramirez into their squad this summer and will listen to offers as they look to free up space in their squad and on their wage bill.

Director of football Marcel Brands has set a £10million valuation on the big-earning forward, who has two years remaining on his £65,000-a-week contract.

Everton signed Ramirez in the summer of 2017 when they paid £5.2million to activate the release clause in his contract after a prolific campaign at Malaga.

But the former Spain Under-21 international has failed to subsequently re-produce those scoring feats and his record in the last two seasons at Everton and loan clubs Sociedad and Sevilla has been lamentable.

The Premier League club are in the market for a new striker who can provide competition for the young Englishman and, as revealed by Football Insider, they have shortlisted Chelsea ace Tammy Abraham, who is thriving on loan at Aston Villa, and another prolific scorer in this season's Championship.

In the latest Everton news, it can be REVEALED that the club are ready to pay "serious money" for 23-year-old frozen out by Garry Monk when he was Leeds United manager.
