West Ham would have to pay about £30million if they want to sign Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri this summer, sources have told Football Insider. 

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed the La Liga side could be “susceptible to offers” for En-Nesyri after they have endured a difficult season. 

Football Insider revealed on 12 May the Hammers are plotting a bid for the Moroccan international once the transfer window reopens.

West Ham have made attempts to sign the 26-year-old in previous windows after he’s impressed during his time with the Spanish club. 

O’Rourke admitted the Irons may not be alone in their pursuit of En-Nesyri this summer as he expects other top European clubs to register an interest in signing him.

The forward’s contract is due to expire in June 2025.

En-Nesyri has been in fine form again this season for Sevilla after registering 19 goals and laying on three assists in 38 appearances. 

O’Rourke revealed the Moroccan has come close to moving to the Premier League previously and now could be the ideal time for West Ham to strike a deal. 

Sevilla currently sit 12th in La Liga and won’t qualify for European football next season as En-Nesyri heads into the final year of his contract. 

The Hammers could look to manager-elect Julen Lopetegui to help get a deal over the line for the forward after he previously managed him at the Seville-based club.

Football Insider revealed on 5 May the Spaniard is likely to be in the London Stadium dugout next season after the Irons have offered him an “enormous” deal to replace David Moyes as their new manager. 

West Ham are in the market for a new forward again this summer as they look to provide the likes of Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen with more support in the attacking department.
