Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser has told friends he wants to join Arsenal as they prepare to table a bid for him, Football Insider understands.
The London giants are battling multiple Premier League to secure the signature of the 25-year-old following his eyecatching campaign for Eddie Howe’s side.
A source with knowledge of Fraser’s situation has told Football Insider the Scotland international is eager to make the journey to Emirates Stadium this summer.
Arsenal are hopeful of winning the race for Fraser’s signature after registering their interest in him following extensive scouting throughout last season.
They are expected to submit a bid of over £20million for the left-footed winger and believe they can make him one of their marquee captures this summer.
Bournemouth are braced for bids for Fraser after failing to agree a new contract with the player, who is about to enter the final 12 months of his contract.
He was one of the Cherries’ outstanding players in 2018-19, scoring seven goals from 38 Premier League games as well as supplying 14 assists, a number bettered only by Eden Hazard.
Fraser joined Bournemouth from Aberdeen in 2013 and his public stance is that he does not know where he will be playing next season.
In other Arsenal news, it can be REVEALED that Hamburg have tabled a formal bid for a Gunners defender.
