There is currently an 11 point game between the Yorkshire giants and the automatic promotion spots, so they may now be out of reach.
However, with six points between themselves and Fulham in seventh who also still boast a game in hand means that Monk and his team still have much to battle for before the season’s finish.
Leeds still have several difficult fixtures to play before the campaign’s end with clashes against second placed Brighton and Reading in fifth coming up next.
In other Leeds news, this Whites loan ace has remained unbeaten since leaving the club temporarily.
