Gary Brazil has confirmed that Dani Pinillos is fit for Nottingham Forest’s game against Brentford after missing the club’s last game.
The 24-year-old missed out on the shock 3-0 win over Brighton on Saturday through injury but he has recovered in time for the clash at the City Ground on Tuesday.
However interim manager Brazil will not give an instant return to the starting line-up for Pinillos due to Armand Traore’s impressive performance at left-back against the Seagulls.
The former Arsenal and Juventus man played well in the win over second-place Brighton which helped lift the Reds move six points clear of the relegation zone.
“Dani missed out through injury on Saturday and is available for tomorrow [Tuesday] but will have to work to get his place back from Traore,” said Brazil in a press conference on Monday which was reported by the Forest official Twitter page.
“We have players coming back from injury but they will have to fight to get their shirts. That competition is really healthy.”

Zach Clough grabbed two goals and Ben Osborn got the other in the highly unexpected win at the weekend.
The win ended a run of four games without a victory for Brazil’s side who are now on 40 points in the Championship, the same total Charlton were relegated to League One with last season – and they were the highest finishing side out of the bottom three.
After welcoming Brentford to the City Ground in what will be back-to-back home games for the club, Forest face an important trip to East Midlands rivals Burton Albion on Saturday as the Brewers are one of three teams between the Reds and the bottom three.
In other Nottingham Forest news, Brazil has delivered his verdict on the appointment of Frank McParland.
