Gary Lineker took to Twitter during Tottenham’s dominating 3-0 win over Swansea in the FA Cup quarter-final on Saturday to deliver his verdict on Spurs.
And he liked what he saw, saying “Tottenham showing they’re not just Harry Hotspur.”
Tottenham showing they’re not just Harry Hotspur.

Harry Kane was injured in the club’s last Premier League game against Bournemouth, and in his absence Heung-Min Son led the line.
He didn’t get on the scoresheet but two goals from Christian Eriksen and one from Erik Lamela showed there’s goals all the way through this Tottenham side.
Football Insider verdict:
This is big from Tottenham and Lineker is right to highlight it. It’s been said that Tottenham are a one-man team and couldn’t survive the loss of their top goalscorer. They did struggle last season when he was injured but they’ve progressed since then and showed today that they can still crush teams without their talisman. No doubt they’re a better team with him in, but the fact they can win easily without him – and look good doing it – is huge for Pochettino. They’re the first side to book their berth in the FA Cup semi-finals and fans will be thinking this could be the year they finally break their silverware duck. With or without Harry Kane.
