Mills: Leeds may reignite push for Rodrigo
Danny Mills has tipped Leeds United to try and sign summer target Rodrigo de Paul in January if the price is right.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley, the former Leeds and England full back delivered his verdict after it was reported Marcelo Bielsa is still keen on the Argentine.
Spanish Outlet Don Balon report the Yorkshire giants are preparing a bid of £35million for the Udinese playmaker.
This site revealed over the summer Leeds failed to agree a fee with the Serie A side after successfully negotiating personal terms with De Paul.
Asked by Football Insider if the deal was worth revisiting during the January transfer window, Mills said: “Having worked with lots of managers throughout my career, it’s not rocket science.
“If you can improve on what you’ve got you bring players in. Simple as that. It doesn’t matter if you’re pushing players out, or pushing people’s noises out of joint.

“If you can bring in a player that you believe is better and of higher quality then you do it.
“Equally there’s no point bringing in players if they’re not going to improve what you’ve got and you’re just bringing them in for the sake of it doesn’t work either.
“You’re always looking to improve so if that opportunity is available at the right price then you bring it in.”
De Paul has started all of Udinese’s Serie A games this season and has even captained the side in recent weeks.
The 26-year-old has scored 26 goals and provided 27 assists in 154 games across all competitions for the club.
