Graham Roberts: Tottenham 25-year-old has been the best in the league
By Dominic Toner
Graham Roberts believes that Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen has been the best player in the Premier League during April.
The 25-year-old has been included on the six-man shortlist for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month.
He has been joined by Spurs teammate Dele Alli for the April award, while Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Hull’s Kamil Grosicki, Crystal Palace’s Christian Benteke and Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino complete the shortlist.
Eriksen has been in sensational form recently for the north London club and helped them in the hunt for the Premier League title.
Roberts has hailed the quality of the Denmark international and claims he has been the standout player in the top-flight during April.

Eriksen has been a crucial part of Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season and has found red-hot form at an important time.
The attacking midfielder has made seven appearances across all competitions in April, scoring two goals and supplying four assists in return.
He is quite often overshadowed by his attacking teammates Alli and Harry Kane, but is being recognised for his huge contributions.
Eriksen now has a staggering 20 assists this season and is regarded as the creative spark for Spurs, while also chipping in with 12 goals.
Pochettino will be hoping the playmaker can continue his good form and help them overturn the four-point gap to league leaders Chelsea.
In other Tottenham news, the club’s supporters have urged them to sell their 27-year-old midfielder.
