Tottenham legend Graham Roberts has claimed that Christian Eriksen is going to sign a new contract with the club.
Eriksen, 25, has been in stunning form for Spurs this season and the Liverpool Echo had suggested that Jurgen Klopp could try and lure the Denmark international to Anfield in the summer in what may be an “outlandish attempt”.
Roberts was clearly unhappy with seeing Eriksen being linked to Liverpool, and took to his personal Twitter account to claim that the ex-Ajax playmaker would soon be committing his future to the North London club.
“What load of crap he’s going sign a longer contract,” he said in response to a tweet which included a story by the Express about Eriksen’s link to Liverpool.

Tottenham star Eriksen has made 32 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring eight goals and supplying eight assists in the process.
The Dane will no doubt have to be on top of his form on Tuesday night when Spurs return to Champions League action when they face a tough clash with Juventus at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.
The Independent reported in the summer that Barcelona had Eriksen on their radar as they tried to sign Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool and that chairman Daniel Levy would have considering cashing in on him if an offer of over £100million was made for the attacking midfielder.
