Rangers released an official statement after Hibernian cut their fans’ allocation of tickets for the final game of the season, a decision which the statement says “beggars belief”.
They went on to say that they hoped their fans’ safety wouldn’t be compromised and ended with a direct threat that rangers would look at cutting Hibs’ ticket allocations in the future.
Rangers fans loved the tone of the message and took to Twitter to support their club – something that hasn’t been seen much in recent months.
One fan said they should “hit them where it hurts Bears” and asked how dare Hibs show them so much disrespect.
Another applauded the statement and said it’s exactly the sort of message that Rangers should be putting out.
Finally, one fan demanded that Rangers give no tickets to away fans and keep Ibrox all for Rangers – something the club hierarchy will probably not be able to consider.
Here are the best reactions from angry Rangers fans:
Oh aye we will just take half a stand when you go back to home gates of 9k-10k. Happy to see your getting good crowds but your attendances fluctuate with your teams performances

We need to follow through on this
While we’re in the mood, inform their republican friends in the east end that they will NO LONGER be given a full stand at Ibrox (we all hate it) give them a portion of the broomloan. Relocate fan groups under big screen permanently🇬🇧

This is a provocation by Hibernian fc, it’s outrageous really . We all know the are perfectly entitled to do so but it’s unbelievable nonetheless, we should refuse our allocation .
