Emre Can has pulled out of training with the Germany team after 15 minutes because of problems with his back, according to a reliable journalist.

Christian Falk, editor with Sport Bild, reported the news on Wednesday morning as the Germany team prepare to face Spain on Friday.

Can was injured and substituted after 27 minutes of the 5-0 win against Watford on Saturday but he was deeemd okay to join up with Germany.

However, it looks like he's suffered some sort of reaction and that could mean a return to Anfield.

Football Insider verdict:

This will be worrying for Liverpool fans. Can might be off in the summer but in the meantime he's got an important role to play for his side. They're homing in on the Champions League and runners-up spot in the Premier League and they need everyone fully fit. Pulling out of training and coming back to Anfield could be a blessing in disguise and it might be no more than precautionary.
