QPR boss Ian Holloway has shared that emerging Leeds youngster Ronaldo Vieira has blown him away.
The 18-year-old midfielder is considered a bright prospect at the Yorkshire giants, playing in 31 matches in all competitions this season.
He will now be looking to make his next appearance at Elland Road on Saturday when Leeds welcome Holloway’s London-based side.
The outspoken senior man has told that he is a big fan of Vieira in the build-up to the encounter, while claiming he is one of the best young midfielders in the Championship.
“Chris Wood is the best striker in the division, and we have to try to take care of him,” told Holloway, as quoted by the official QPR website.
“Pablo Hernandez behind him in a 4-2-3-1 is really dangerous, and I think they are going to have probably one of the best young midfielders in the division playing in Ronaldo Vieira. He has been sensational.”
Vieira began life at Portuguese giants Benfica before departing for England in 2011 with his family in search of more job opportunities.
It then took him four years until he joined the Leeds academy in 2015 after impressing on a trial.
He has seemingly not looked back since and within a year he made his senior debut for the club in a 1-1 draw with Preston in May 2016.
Vieira has since gone on to play 31 more times for the first team and with his contract due to run out in 2019 fans will be hoping he earns a further extension in the near future.
