'I’m handing out lessons' - Aberdeen ace trolls Celtic during loss v Bayern Munich

By Danny Wright

Aberdeen ace Shay Logan trolled Celtic on Twitter during their 3-0 loss against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

Logan, 29, is not a very popular figure among the Hoops fans after he was the victim of racial abuse from Aleksandar Tonev, resulting in a seven-match ban for the ex-Parkhead loanee.

On Wednesday, after Thomas Muller put Bayern Munich ahead against Brendan Rodgers’ side, Logan began a series of tweets poking fun at Celtic on his personal Twitter account, where he said he’s “handing out lessons” in banter to the supporters of the Scottish champions.

Logan joked that he was in fact watching the Manchester City highlights from their win against Napoli on Tuesday night, but it was clear with the timing of his tweets that he was watching how Celtic were getting on in the Champions League Group B clash.

The English right-back will have done nothing to endear himself to the Hoops support by trolling them on Twitter, and that could come back to haunt him next Wednesday when his side welcome the Glaswegians to Pittodrie.

The two sides are level on points at the top of the Premiership after a solid start to the campaign, and one can move clear of the other in the midweek clash that could present Celtic with their biggest threat to losing their unbeaten domestic run.
