Alexis Sanchez has delivered a bombshell to Arsenal by telling the club he wants to join Juventus, according to a report.
Spanish newspaper Sport claim the Gunners talisman has had a meeting with manager Arsene Wenger and explained his desire to join the Italian giants.
It is said that Juventus lodged a bid for Sanchez worth up to £43million a month ago that was rejected out of hand by Arsenal.
But the Serie A champions have returned to the negotiating table and are ready to table an improved offer for Arsenal’s second most expensive ever signing in an attempt to force a sale from the London giants.
The report says that Sanchez wants to join Juventus, and is willing to continue his battle to engineer a return to Serie A, where he had a successful period when at Udinese.

Spanish news outlet Don Balon claimed on Tuesday that Inter Milan are ready to sell star striker Mauro Icardi and could use most of the proceeds to make a concerted move for the Arsenal forward.
It is highly doubtful that Arsene Wenger would agree to a deal which involves star man Sanchez, unless he could guarantee the arrival of a replacement,
The 27-year-old attacker moved to the Emirates in 2014 from Spanish giants Barcelona for a fee of £31.7million and is one of the key players in Wenger’s team.
The Chile international has made 92 appearances in all competitions during his two years at the club and scored an impressive 42 goals from his attacking position.
He lead the line and played the full 90 minutes in Arsenal’s 4-3 defeat against Liverpool on Sunday, but he was unable to get onto the score sheet.
In other Arsenal transfer news, they are told Real Madrid are prepared to sell an attacker with a £65million price tag.
